Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Staff Architect - Tax Systems to own the end-to-end architecture, implementation, and support of the OneSource tax engine and its integrations with SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA across US and international entities.

This hands-on architect role serves as the primary contact between Tax, Ariba, SAP, and OneSource teams to design solutions and triage issues to resolution. The ideal candidate has 9+ years in enterprise tax systems, hands-on OneSource integration

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise tax systems.
• 7-9 years of hands-on implementation or operational experience with tax solutions like OneSource, Pagero.
• 5-7 years of transactional processing and operations assurance experience.
• Hands-on experience integrating OneSource with Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience implementing tax systems at US and international levels.
• Understanding of tax posting logic across regions.”
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and design of OneSource tax engine integrations with SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead implementation of new OneSource integrations, tax content, and determination logic across the US and international regions.
• Serve as SME on OneSource configuration, calculation logic, and integration touchpoints with Ariba and S/4HANA.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis/technical and Ariba teams to ensure accurate tax determination, calculation, and posting end-to-end.
• Act as primary business-facing contact for triaging tax integration issues spanning Ariba, S/4HANA, and OneSource.
• Drive cross-team issue resolution with Ariba, SAP, OneSource, and other vendors to completion.
• Perform root-cause analysis on tax discrepancies and recommend configuration or process changes.
• Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios across Ariba, S/4HANA, and OneSource for implementations, upgrades, and fixes.
• Validate tax postings across the procure-to-pay flow, not just within OneSource.
