Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an experienced architect to analyze and translate complex SAP and IT requirements into architectural blueprints for supply chain systems. You will design scalable solutions, ensuring integration across SAP WM/EWM and related modules in a large distribution context.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, lead design decisions, and drive end-to-end architecture vision for current and future technology products. The role emphasizes collaboration and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP Supply Chain solutions, with deep expertise in SAP WM and SAP EWM.
• Experience integrating SAP WM/EWM with SD, MM, FI, 3rd party logistics and external WCS.
• Proven ability to lead solution design for complex projects in large-scale distribution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Understands product vision and business requirements to define product architectures and works with product managers to plan and execute new product releases.

Deep understanding of integration points and the end‑to‑end data flow between SAP WM/EWM and other modules/systems, such as SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), 3rd party logistics solutions and external WCS (Warehouse Control Systems). Proven ability to lead solution design for complex projects in a large‑scale distribution environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate, cross‑functional technical issues

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines
