Job summary

Engine is seeking a highly-skilled Staff Security Engineer to join our team. You will be the primary owner of security and integrity across our applications, building a vulnerability management pipeline and executing our application security program.

You will collaborate with engineering to enforce secure coding practices, perform reviews, and drive threat detection, incident response, and tooling. Equity is offered with a base salary, with a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more languages (Ruby, Java, Python, C# or Node.js).
• Experience in building and running vulnerability management pipelines and security tooling.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Mitre Top 25 and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the configuration, tuning, and management of our SIEM solution and incident response.
• Conduct architecture/code/infrastructure reviews and light application security testing.
• Build and maintain frameworks and tooling for enterprise security and secure delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce secure coding and remediation strategies.
• Lead security advocacy and training to improve team security posture.
