Class Valuation is seeking a Staff Appraiser for the Fairfax, VA area. The role covers Fairfax & Loudoun Counties with W2 employment and a focus on reliable monthly order volume.

Staff appraisers will use cutting-edge technology and benefit from a robust support structure to deliver accurate, timely residential appraisals. Responsibilities include performing market value appraisals, ensuring USPAP compliance, data verification, and collaboration with the team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Certified Residential or General Appraiser in good standing.
• FHA Approved appraiser preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of residential real estate appraisal experience.
• Ability to make independent decisions with minimal guidance.
• Strong knowledge of local market factors and properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete market value residential property appraisals (traditional, hybrid, desktops).
• Ensure compliance with USPAP guidelines and federal/state laws.
• Manage data collection, verification, and analysis.
• Collaborate in a team environment to meet production and service goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high ethical standards.
• Stay proactive with status updates and communication.
• Participate in training and virtual conference calls as required
