Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced signoff engineer to deploy and support PrimeTime, RedHawk-SC, PrimeClosure and other signoff tools at leading semiconductor customers in the Austin area.

You will diagnose STA/PDN issues, own technical problems end to end, and collaborate with product teams to address customer needs during tapeouts. You will interact directly with customer design teams, translate their pain points into actionable enhancements, and support presales efforts by demonstrating

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of semiconductor design experience with STA, timing closure, ECO, or PDN analysis.
• Experience providing technical support or applications engineering for timing signoff or PDN domains with customer interaction.
• Strong scripting in Python, Tcl or Perl to automate workflows and build custom solutions.
• Experience with PDN implementation flows or 3DIC methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Synopsys signoff tools at leading semiconductor companies.
• Engage directly with customer design teams to diagnose STA, PDN, SI, and reliability signoff challenges.
• Own technical issues end to end and deliver solutions to unblock tapeouts.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate customer pain points into product enhancements.
• Support presales activities by demonstrating Seascape and signoff solutions.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of best practices and troubleshooting FAQs.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve tools, methodologies, and engagement.
