Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a senior timing signoff expert to lead critical troubleshooting and optimization for customers tapeouts. You will diagnose timing, power, and signoff issues in PrimeTime, PrimeShield, PrimeClosure, and PrimePower under real schedule pressure, and translate customer needs into tangible feature requests.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across global teams, and help shape methodology and best practices for next-generation designs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 10+ years in timing analysis and signoff in a customer-facing or product role.
• Deep knowledge of PrimeTime; experience with two of PrimeShield, PrimeClosure, PrimePower.
• Ability to debug signoff issues under tapeout pressure and propose balanced solutions.
• Strong understanding of static timing analysis, multi-mode/multi-corner, path-based analysis, and signoff techniques.
• Experience with adjacent tools like StarRC, RedHawk-SC, Spice, Hspice, or PrimeSim is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to work across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Support customer tapeouts, diagnosing timing, power, and signoff issues in PrimeTime family under real schedule pressure.
• Deploy signoff features with customers, handling beta testing and adoption blockers.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product enhancement requests backed by data.
• Create technical training content, demos, and methodology documentation.
• Collaborate across engineering, R&D, and account teams to resolve issues affecting schedules.
• Mentor applications engineers and customer design teams on timing signoff practices.
