Job summary

Omnissa is hiring an Application Security Engineer at Staff or Staff II level in a hybrid role with Atlanta, GA or Mountain View, CA as primary locations. This senior technical leadership role shapes security across Omnissa’s product portfolio, from UEM to cloud-native and mobile platforms.

You will set technical direction, lead threat modeling, and drive secure design across distributed systems, influencing architecture and engineering decisions without direct people management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on application security experience with demonstrated depth and influence
• Deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and mitigations, prioritized by business impact
• Proven ability to lead threat modeling, secure design, and security architecture for complex systems
• Proficiency in Java or C++, able to read, reason about, and review production code

Responsibilities

• Security Architecture & Threat Modeling: define standards, guardrails, and threat models across architecture
• Secure Code Review & Vulnerability Research: perform manual code review and testing, codify findings, and drive remediation
• Security Program Maturity: evolve SDL, improve security reviews, and scale security practices across teams
• What success looks like: influence architecture, own security strategy, and deliver measurable improvements
