Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer in a hybrid role across Atlanta and Mountain View. You will own the security of the codebase, perform manual secure code reviews, and lead security testing efforts across assigned product areas.

You will triage vulnerabilities, drive fixes with engineering teams, and build automation to improve security processes while collaborating with senior engineers to strengthen secure development practices across Omnissa’s six product

Qualifications

• 4+ years in application security or security-focused software engineering
• Strong knowledge of common app sec vulnerabilities and mitigations
• Hands-on secure code review and testing (not just scanners)
• Proficiency in Java or C++ and reading production code

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling for features and components in your area.
• Independently perform secure code reviews and manual security testing across components.
• Triage and validate reported vulnerabilities; drive fixes with engineering teams.
• Build and maintain automation and tooling to improve the security process.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest tooling/process improvements.
• Document findings and guidance, collaborating with developers to strengthen secure dev practices.
