Job summary

Omnissa, LLC is seeking a hands-on Application Security Engineer to own security work across multiple product areas. You will read and review code, perform manual security testing, and help engineers find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities in our software.

The role requires clear communication and dependable delivery. Located in Atlanta with Hybrid work (3 days in-office; remote other days), you will collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and developers to strengthen secure

Qualifications

• 4+ years in application security or security-focused software engineering.
• Hands-on secure code review and application security testing experience.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Java or C++, reading production code.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling for features and components in your area.
• Perform secure code reviews, manual security testing, and penetration testing across components.
• Triage and validate reported vulnerabilities; drive fixes to closure with engineering teams.
• Build and maintain automation and tooling to improve the security process.
• Document findings and guidance; collaborate with developers to strengthen secure practices.
