Cash App’s Crypto Mobile team is hiring an Android engineer to expand features for Bitcoin and other digital assets in the US and global markets. You’ll work on Bitcoin Lightning Network, P2P deposits/withdrawals, and on-chain trading, collaborating with mobile and backend engineers to deliver high-quality experiences.

The Cash App Crypto team is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing Cash App’s blockchain-based financial services, with the mission of empowering individuals across the world through access to Bitcoin and other digital assets. We prioritize building meaningful financial services over speculation and put Bitcoin at the heart of our crypto innovation strategy.
As an Android engineer on Cash’s Crypto Mobile team, you will focus on improving and expanding our services around Bitcoin and other digital assets for the US and international markets. Examples of such services include Bitcoin Lightning Network, Bitcoin P2P for Cash App customers, Bitcoin on-chain deposits and withdrawals, and Bitcoin trading around the world.
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location.
U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $167,300 - USD $204,500
Zone B: USD $158,900 - USD $194,300
Zone C: USD $150,600 - USD $184,000
Zone D: USD $142,200 - USD $173,800
