Grow Therapy is hiring an Android Staff Engineer to own the technical direction from day one. You will set architecture, tooling, and release processes for Grow's Android app, collaborating with iOS, product, and design teams to deliver features that connect clients with care.

You will lead architecture decisions at pace, using AI tools to enhance development, and operate within a hybrid environment requiring onsite presence at multiple hub locations.

Competenze

• Minimum 8+ years of software engineering experience with native Android development in Kotlin.
• Led technical direction for an Android app or platform from early stages or major re-architecture.
• Strong knowledge of modern Android (Jetpack Compose, coroutines, Flow, DI, modularization, Gradle).
• Ability to partner with product and design to align technical decisions with user experience.
• Experience using AI development tools as part of building mobile apps.

Mansioni

• Design architecture and foundations for Grow's native Android app, including project structure and build, testing, and release pipelines.
• Ship consumer-facing features and improve user discovery of care and management of the care journey.
• Set coding standards, tooling, and engineering practices for Android as the team grows.
• Own production path: CI/CD, Play release management, observability, and security practices for healthcare.
• Collaborate with product, design, iOS and backend teams to connect technical decisions to product goals.
• Drive cross-functional decisions and communicate Android roadmap to stakeholders.
