Setpoint Technologies Inc. is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting external data products.

You will report to the Head of Analytics and partner with engineering, product, and implementation to build and maintain the data infrastructure powering our products. This hands-on role will evolve into a player-coach position, leading data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics models using Python, DBT, and SQL, while mentoring engineers and growing a team in a collaborative

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics engineering or similar technical role.
• Proven expertise in DBT, SQL, and GitHub-based development.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience in a customer-facing role with technical/business stakeholders.
• Experience with asset managers, financial services data sets a plus.
• Based in Austin, TX.

We are looking for a Staff Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting our external data products. In this position, you will report to our Head of Analytics and partner closely with the engineering, product, and implementation teams to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our products.

This is a hands-on role that will develop into a player-coach position. You will design and maintain data pipelines, create dashboards, and work directly with stakeholders to deliver insights that drive business outcomes. Eventually, you will lead and grow a team of analytics engineers while staying technically hands-on.

You should have

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Proven expertise DBT, SQL, and GitHub-based development. Python is a plus.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and models.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with asset managers, business owners, or financial services data sets is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in Austin, TX.
