The incumbent in the Cost Price unit is responsible for performing, under general direction, quantitative analyses of contractors' proposed prices and negotiating prices with contractors. The incumbent will be trained in preparing cost and price analyses, detailed analyses of contractors’ price and cost proposals. The incumbent formulates negotiation positions; negotiates prices for sole source contracts, contract modifications, construction change orders and other procurement actions; communicates; prepares written narrative summarizing negotiations and corresponding results. Performs other analyses as required.

Final salary is determined by experience, skill set, and alignment with compensation practices. The posted range reflects expected compensation and may be updated as market or business needs evolve.
