You will mentor engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple applications and markets. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal design experience, a strong track record of tape-outs and silicon validation, and

Qualifications

10 years work experience / degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline.
Masters degree or higher very desirable.
Extensive experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design.
Proven track record of successful IC tape-outs and silicon validation.
Experience delivering designs from concept through layout to production.
Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring engineers.
Publications or patents in analog/mixed-signal design (preferred).
Successful engineering team leadership and/or management experience desirable with strong communication.
Design experience in RF Amplifiers, LNAs, Mixers, VGAs, Data converters, PLL, VCOs, clock generation, Bandgaps, and Op-amps is a must.
Expert-level ability to design and analyze complex analog circuits and optimize for applications.
Deep understanding of submicron technologies and EMS constraints.
Understanding of electromigration and aging effects.

Responsibilities

Perform feasibility, conceptual and detailed design of mixed-signal ICs in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits and blocks with robust performance across PVT.
Develop creative solutions and new architectures to meet customer needs.
Translate customer requirements into chip and block level specs including area, cost, and power tradeoffs.
Move from schematic to layout, guiding physical design to meet requirements.
Collaborate with RF engineers on laminate design and matching for RF performance.
Assist with silicon validation and debug through measurements and lab data.
Provide guidance across teams to ensure designs meet performance objectives.
