Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer - AI & Agentic Systems to secure AI-enabled applications, LLM integrations, and agentic workflows. You will partner with engineering, product, and data teams to embed security across design, development, and operations.

You will guide secure design, conduct threat modeling, and support responsible AI security controls while advancing enterprise security maturity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, building, or securing enterprise-scale apps.
• 5+ years of application security incl. threat modeling and risk assessments.
• 5+ years of programming in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Define secure design patterns for AI-enabled apps and agentic systems.
• Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments.
• Lead security testing, risk management, and remediation of findings.
• Collaborate across teams to embed security in development and product roadmaps.
