Job summary

Intuit in Mountain View seeks a Staff AI Scientist to advance GenAI capabilities across products. You will design and scale LLMOps, evaluation frameworks, and enable agentic AI, collaborating with ML engineers, data scientists, PMs, and architects to deliver impactful AI features.

You will lead end-to-end AI solutions, architect evaluation pipelines, promote Responsible AI, and mentor others while communicating tradeoffs to leaders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of applied ML/AI with production systems.
• Hands-on with agentic AI workflows using Python-based tools.
• Experience designing APIs and deploying ML services in cloud environments.
• Strong collaboration across PM, Eng, DS and leadership.
• Excellent communication and influence across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end AI solutions including GenAI and ML models.
• Own evaluation frameworks: leaderboards, benchmarks, experiments.
• Advance LLMOps: lifecycle management, cost, reliability.
• Embed Responsible AI: fairness, transparency, safety, governance.
• Cross-functional leadership with PM, Eng, and design.
• Assess new AI techniques and influence long-term strategy.
• Mentor scientists and engineers to foster excellence.
• Communicate AI tradeoffs and strategy to leaders.
