Job summary

Apollo GraphQL seeks a talented engineer to design and build systems for API discovery, schema understanding, and safe agent-to-API orchestration at enterprise scale.

You will own search, ranking, relevance, or query-planning components central to how AI agents find and use APIs and data. Expect rapid prototyping and close collaboration with a small, high-context team to shape architecture and roadmap.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning a search, ranking, relevance, or query-planning system at scale.
• Exposed to multiple algorithmic approaches and tradeoffs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Able to communicate complex tradeoffs to a technical leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build API discovery, schema understanding, and safe agent-to-API orchestration at scale.
• Own search, ranking, relevance, or query-planning components central to how agents find APIs.
• Prototype quickly, evaluate approaches, and iterate as we learn from pilots.
• Build agent orchestration and observability tooling for trustworthy agent actions.
• Collaborate in a small, high-context team with architecture influence.
