Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a founding Staff AI Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, and scale the end-to-end ML platform powering autonomous systems. You will own the technical roadmap for ML infrastructure, develop robust tools, and enable researchers to experiment at velocity across terabytes of multi-modal data.

You will recruit and mentor an infrastructure engineering team while delivering scalable, secure platforms for training, evaluation, and deployment of AI models in cloud

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with production-scale ML systems and platforms (MLOps).
• Proficient in Python, Go, C++, or similar backend languages; strong ML systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the training, orchestration, and experimentation infrastructure for state-of-the-art models.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks in the ML research lifecycle with automated tools for tuning and tracking.
• Design and scale ETL pipelines processing terabytes of multi-modal data from assets and test sites.
• Architect high-throughput, low-latency model serving for cloud and air-gapped environments; build CI/CD for ML models.
