ClickUp is seeking a Staff AI Engineer – Multi-Agent Frameworks to join our AI Platform team. You will help build a cutting-edge platform that lets users create and deploy sophisticated intelligent agents, with emphasis on collaborative and multi-agent behaviors.

This backend role requires deep expertise in AI, large language models, and orchestration software, and you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, privacy-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with multiple LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) and tradeoffs.
• Expertise with orchestration software for agent workflows.
• Backend AI/ML fundamentals and system design.
• Experience with AI privacy and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a platform for creating and managing AI agents and their interactions.
• Integrate multiple LLMs and ensure scalable coordination of agents.
• Leverage LangGraph and other frameworks to build complex agent workflows.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for AI agents in complex scenarios.
• Stay updated with AI advances and apply them to the platform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams for a seamless UX.
• Address AI privacy scenarios, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Improve search capabilities and integrate into the AI platform.
