Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a Staff Full‑Stack Software Engineer focused on AI for an internal enterprise intelligence platform in Los Angeles. You will design AI agents, prompts, tooling, and a full-stack surface that enables search, chat, and workflow experiences for Rioters and leaders.

You’ll work with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and Workplace teams to shape the semantic layer and data model while delivering end‑to‑end AI features with strong observability and secure, scalable software practices.

Qualifications

• . Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent enterprise tech experience.

• 8+ years of professional full‑stack experience.

• Experience building RAG/agentic systems: retrieval, tool-calling, multi‑step reasoning and verification loops.

• Experience with nondeterministic system evaluation and production feedback.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an orchestrator + specialist-agent architecture on top of a semantic data layer.
• Design and implement retrieval and grounding for RAG/semantic search use cases.
• Integrate agents with internal/external tools to take real actions.
• Build full‑stack app layer, APIs, and UI for AI-powered search, chat, and workflow.
• Instrument AI features with observability and cost awareness.
• Iterate on prompts/model choices with robust fallback behavior.
• Apply engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, on‑call duties.
