Primary Job Responsibilities
- Implement AI data pipelines integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to support AI and Agentic solutions, including pre-processing with extraction, chunking, embedding, and grounding strategies.
- Develop AI-driven systems to enhance data capabilities, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and integrate with enterprise data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed solutions into operational processes and systems.
- Stay updated with industry advancements in GenAI and apply modern technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable real-time data streaming pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Spark streaming.
- Create data domains and data products for various consumption archetypes including Reporting, Data Science, AI/ML, Analytics.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of data pipelines through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Implement best practices in reliability engineering, including redundancy, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment, operation, and maintenance of data systems.
- Develop graph database solutions for complex data relationships supporting AI systems.
- Apply GenAI solutions to insurance-specific data use cases.
- Partner with architects and stakeholders to influence and implement AI and data pipeline visions, safeguarding environment integrity and scalability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- 5+ years in data engineering, including Data solutions, SQL/NoSQL, Snowflake, ETL/ELT, CICD, Big Data, Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), Python/Spark, Data Mesh, Datalake/Data Fabric.
- 1+ year supporting Generative AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade GenAI data solutions and prompt engineering.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector and graph databases, unstructured data processing.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks, cloud platforms, containerization.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-cloud hybrid AI solutions.
- AI certifications, industry-specific experience, NLP, computer vision.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
Compensation
The annualized base pay range is $125,760 - $188,640, based on market analysis and individual factors. Benefits include bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
