Job summary

Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and lead AI agent architectures for Google Cloud Business Platforms. You will own end-to-end ML design, large-scale distributed systems, and enterprise AI workflows, guiding product maturity from conception to deployment.

You will design and implement scalable architectures, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Cloud AI, Core Data Insights, and Finance Engineering to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing end-to-end ML (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques (LLMs, multimodal, large vision models) or with GenAI concepts.
• Experience in AI Platforms/Gen AI Agents and Large-scale Distributed Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of EGI Foundry, providing foundation, runtime, and interfaces for rapidly developing, deploying, and orchestrating enterprise AI applications.
• Architect graph representations, property graph libraries, and ontology services to model enterprise processes and relationships for multi-agent workflows.
• Partner on HITL frameworks, designing feedback loops that convert human corrections into improved prompts and evaluation benchmarks.
• Build robust integration points with core Cloud and Alphabet systems (Salesforce, SAP, Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise).
• Set technical direction, author high-impact design docs, lead architecture reviews, and mentor engineers.
