Qualifications

  • 7–10 years actuarial experience, preferably in property/casualty insurance.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and regulatory outreach.
  • Knowledge of actuarial standards and public policy development.

Responsibilities

  • Support public policy and professionalism initiatives with regulators and industry groups.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and staff to deliver policy work products and outreach.
  • Represent the Academy at public forums and within the actuarial community.
  • Develop work products and identify stakeholders to drive policy work to completion.
  • Contribute to research on emerging actuarial and risk topics with staff and volunteers.
  • Lead projects and participate in cross-practice initiatives as needed.
