Job summary

North American Search Group seeks a Lead Actuary to steer actuarial consulting engagements focused on risk financing, reserve analysis, and financial modeling. You will deliver executive-level reports and present findings to senior leadership, while mentoring junior staff and guiding complex engagements across client portfolios.

The role requires 7+ years of actuarial experience with ACAs or FCAS credentials, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial consulting engagements focused on risk financing, reserve analysis, and financial modeling.
• Perform Total Cost of Risk, retention, and limits analyses to support strategic insurance decisions.
• Develop actuarial valuations, financial projections, and loss reserve analyses across commercial insurance lines.
• Prepare executive-level reports and present findings to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, legal, and other internal teams to deliver client solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on complex engagements.
• Support business development through client presentations and proposal development.
