Interim HealthCare Inc. in Worthington, OH, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Regional Management Center team.

The role focuses on the monthly and annual financial statement cycle, including reconciliations, analysis, and reporting to support our multi-state home healthcare operations. You will prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations, contribute to budgets and forecasting, and maintain fixed assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of two years of related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, financial statements, and general analysis.
• Provide clear and effective explanation to end user financial questions.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasting and special projects.
• Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and coordinates acquisition documentation.

The Staff Accountant position is primarily responsible for the multi-state hospice and home healthcare
monthly and annual financial statement cycle. Reconciliations, analysis, and reporting are core Staff
Accountant functions supporting our Interim HealthCare operations.
