Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of public accounting or staff accountant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax principles, and financial reporting.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, and nonprofits.
• Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations for governmental and nonprofit entities.
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures.
• Maintain accurate client records and workpapers.
• Communicate with clients to gather data and address inquiries; stay updated on tax law changes and accounting standards.
