Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of public accounting or staff accountant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax principles, and financial reporting.
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, and nonprofits.
• Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures for governmental and nonprofit entities.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and workpapers.
• Communicate with clients to gather data, resolve inquiries, and stay current with tax law changes.
