Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in accounting/finance.
• 1–3 years public accounting or staff accountant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax principles, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures for governmental and nonprofit entities.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and workpapers.
• Communicate with clients to gather financial data and resolve accounting inquiries.
• Stay current with changes in tax law, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
