CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our State and Local Government group in either Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, CO. The role emphasizes client service, day-to-day accounting, and detailed financial processing.

Qualifications

• Accounting and financial experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Completes month end processing and prepares financial statements.
• Completes quarterly/annual processing including sales tax returns and 1099s.
