Job summary

Guest Worldwide is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the preparation and analysis of financial reports in compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX). The role will involve general ledger entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses across multiple entities.

You will collaborate with department leads to produce consolidated statements, analyze financial position, and assist with payroll and month-end processes. Evening/weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile financial information to perform routine accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements with department leads.
• Analyze financial information to summarize current and projected company financial position for managers.
• Prepare payments by accruing expenses and reconciling accounts.
• Update daily cash schedules using bank statements for month-end reconciliation.
• Assist with annual Profit Plan and miscellaneous projects.
• Prepare payroll journal entries.
• Answer accounting questions by researching data.
• Maintain company record keeping and oversight.
