TalentBridge is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role focuses on month-end close, general ledger integrity, and reconciliations, with opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a solid GL foundation, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a collaborative environment where ownership and improvements are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of journal entries, accrual accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in a multi-location or growing organization preferred.
• Exposure to revenue accounting, merchant reconciliations, or payroll accounting is a plus.
• Self-motivated, collaborative professional who enjoys improving processes and taking ownership.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support revenue and accounts receivable accounting, including related reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, merchant transactions, and other cash activity.
• Assist with payroll and benefits accounting, including related general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset schedules.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
• Maintain organized documentation to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
• Partner with accounting leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
