Job summary

Knipex-Werk in Buffalo Grove, IL seeks a Staff Accountant to strengthen the accounting and finance team. You will manage AP and credit activities, support financial reporting, and serve as the SAP accounting subject matter expert for pricing and costing data.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3+ years in distribution or manufacturing, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on SAP experience. This is an on-site role with a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting plus 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to work with SAP accounting functions.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Accounts Payable and Credit functions and related reporting.
• Posts journals, reconciles GL accounts, and assists with audits.
• Maintains SAP master data for pricing, costing, and vendors.
• Produces monthly financial reports and cost calculations.
