Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5 years’ experience with general staff accounting.
• Proficiency with Sage 300 and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Sage software to streamline accounting tasks and reporting.
• Compile financial information to perform routine accounting processes such as general ledger entries; reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and perform analytical reviews of schedules and documents.
• Manage month-end close activities to produce reliable financial statements.
• Maintain detailed records and reports to support organizational financial health.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and reports as required.
• Assist Controller with various accounting projects.
