Responsibilities

• Compile financial information to perform routine accounting processes such as general ledger entries; reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and perform analytical reviews of schedules and documents.
• Manage month-end close activities to produce reliable financial statements.
• Maintain detailed records and reports to support organizational financial health.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and reports as required.
• Assist Controller with various accounting projects.

Job Responsibilities:

The staff accountant should be a self-starting professional who is comfortable using Sage 300. Huge plus if you have experience with Prophesy and / or NexGen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilize Sage software to streamline accounting tasks and reporting.
