4L Managed Accounting LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and support month-end close for multiple law firm clients.

You will collaborate with fellow accountants and client contacts to deliver timely financial information, analyze variances, and ensure accuracy across general ledger and statements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and deadlines.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for assigned clients.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage multiple client accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, and trust activity for accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support client needs.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide support for special projects and other accounting responsibilities.
