Job summary

Three Strands Group seeks a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, ensure accuracy of financial transactions, and assist with month-end close. This role interacts with various internal departments and vendors to manage payables, reimbursements, reconciliations, payroll support, and reporting.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, supporting financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with opportunities to participate in process improvements and special projects across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• GAAP knowledge required
• Experience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, Bill.com, Sage Intacct preferred

Responsibilities

• Review revenue recognition and recording accuracy
• Manage accounts payable process and vendor setup
• Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation
• Process employee expense reimbursements and corporate card program
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Support payroll data entry for semi-monthly processing
• Monitor outstanding balances and aging of accounts
