firstPRO, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role targets recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to develop technical accounting skills in a stable, collaborative environment.

The position offers a Hybrid schedule with 1 day onsite and 4 days remote, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 0–3 years of accounting experience. SAP experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, debits and credits, and account reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records across multiple accounting systems.
• Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with intercompany accounting activities, including reconciling balances across business entities.
• Support annual audit processes by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
• Maintain compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with accounting team members to resolve discrepancies, improve accuracy, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Assist with additional general ledger accounting responsibilities and special projects as needed.
