Ikerd Holdings is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Somerset, KY. The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaborative work with the Closing Team to support real estate closings and company finances.

The role requires 1–3 years accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, and a college degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. A detail-oriented, self-starting team player will thrive in this environment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 to 3 years accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• College degree in accounting or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Becomes familiar with the company’s vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
• Deposit all receipts from real estate closings into the company’s escrow account daily.
• Prepare checks for all real estate closings from the company’s escrow account.
• Work closely with Closing Team to ensure client satisfaction and on-time closing demands
• Record accounts receivable
• Record accounts payable
• Regularly process all company deposits into the company’s operations account
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and staff
• Process accounting transactions as needed for associated companies within our family of entities
• Manages multiple projects and meets deadlines
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
