Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and solid accounting fundamentals are required to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. The role supports payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and forecasting, while coordinating with external accountants for audits and tax preparation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Communicate updates to management.
• Coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
