Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Staff Accountant for our Finance team based in the regional office in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, in-person position that supports financial reporting and project accounting essential to our operations.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 1–3 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required to excel in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support accurate financial reporting in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Coordinate project billing and assist with timely and accurate invoicing.
• Perform job cost reconciliation and support analysis of project financials.
• Maintain asset accounting records and assist with related reconciliations.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams and accounting colleagues while managing responsibilities with strong follow-through.
