Job summary

Beacon Hill in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and assist with month-end close in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will process transactions, maintain accurate records, collaborate with internal teams, and support general accounting functions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least two years of experience, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and experience with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with NetSuite required.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounting transactions and records.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities.
• Review and reconcile financial information to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and maintain data within accounting systems.
• Provide support for audits, financial projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
