Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Hands-on experience preparing and posting journal entries.
• Experience managing accounting responsibilities for multiple companies, entities, or accounts.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Understanding of month-end closing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and manage a high-volume workload.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent hands-on accounting experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple companies and accounts.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and account activity.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Manage financial transactions and records within QuickBooks.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review financial records for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organized documentation and supporting accounting records.
• Track activity across multiple entities while ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assist with financial reporting and provide accounting information to leadership as requested.
• Work closely with internal team members to ensure accounting deadlines are met.
• Support additional accounting and administrative projects as needed.
