Job summary

Sixth Avenue Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our multi-entity accounting operations across Southern California. You will maintain financial records, perform reconciliations, and assist with the month-end close in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong GL skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Hospitality experience and bilingual English/Korean are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple entities and accounts.
• Maintain cash balances and record cash transactions.
• Reconcile corporate credit card accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and prepaids.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes with accurate accounting activity.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support Accounts Payable: invoice review, coding, vendor reconciliations, and payments.
• Review financial activity to identify discrepancies and variances.
• Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc analyses.
