Job summary

The Azoff Music Company LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary assignment with the potential to convert to permanent full-time. The Staff Accountant will contribute to monthly closes of a complex multi-entity organization, handling intercompany allocations and ensuring timely, accurate entries.

Responsibilities include weekly bank reconciliations for 30+ accounts, cash management reporting, AP/AR review, tax payments support, and audits assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply it to transactions.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage weekly bank reconciliations for 30+ accounts.
• Collaborate with management on cash needs, disbursements, and forecasts.
• Reconcile monthly credit card expenses and intercompany allocations.
• Assist with intercompany billings and allocation schedules with senior staff.
• Review AP/AR aging and resolve outstanding items.
• Support fixed asset management and prepaid amortization schedules.
• Assist with external audits and tax-related requests.
