Job summary

The Staff Accountant at Reece USA will apply accounting principles to support monthly close for a multi-location organization. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and assist with capital expenditures and asset projects, reporting to the Senior Accountant.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2+ years of experience, with CPA preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a large multi-location environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret P&L figures.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems with solid reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations and post accruals.
• Assist with Capital Expenditures/Fixed Asset projects and journal entries.
• Assist in financial statement preparation and variance analysis during month-end close.
• Support audit schedules and ERP conversion activities.
• Onsite presence at the assigned Dallas location.
