Job summary

GPAC is assisting a firm in Indianapolis with their search to add a Staff Accountant/CAS Associate to their team. This hands-on bookkeeping role executes recurring accounting work for multiple business clients and drives day-to-day delivery for a small portfolio of Accounting Basics clients.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or client accounting services, strong reconciliation skills, and solid knowledge of journal entries, financial statements, and month-end

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, Client Accounting Services, outsourced accounting, public accounting, or another multi-client accounting environment.
• Hands-on in recording and categorizing transactions and completing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Knowledge of journal entries, financial statements, and month-end accounting processes.
• Candidates must independently perform foundational bookkeeping and reconciliation work on Day 1.
