Job summary

GPAC is assisting a firm in Indianapolis with their search to add a Staff Accountant/CAS Associate to their team. This is a hands-on bookkeeping/accounting role within their FP&A/Business Advisory Services team.

This person will execute recurring accounting work for multiple business clients and own the day-to-day delivery of a small portfolio of Accounting Basics clients. 2+ years of relevant experience and the ability to work independently on Day 1 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, Client Accounting Services, outsourced accounting, or multi-client environments.
• Hands-on experience recording and categorizing transactions and completing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Knowledge of journal entries, financial statements, and month-end accounting processes.
• Ability to independently perform foundational bookkeeping and reconciliation work from Day 1.
