Venteon seeks a Staff Accountant in the Detroit area to support the month-end close with journal entries and account reconciliations. The role includes assisting with consolidated financial statements and strengthening internal controls and procedures.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years of accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other functions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience required.
• High level of US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills.
• Team player who can work well with other functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
• Help prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Assist with internal control and procedure documentation.
• Contribute to financial analysis projects as needed.
