Job summary

WHI Global, a vertically integrated manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, seeks a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support manufacturing operations with daily accounting and HR administration. A key focus is Accounts Payable for production materials and direct inventory.

Responsibilities include 3-way matching, invoicing, AR billing, ERP data entry in Epicor 10, payroll support, and month-end close tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1-2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in aerospace, composites, or discrete manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing inventory transactions, PO matching, and receiving workflows.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system - Epicor 10 strongly preferred; experience with similar manufacturing ERPs welcomed.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, basic formulas).
• High integrity and discretion handling confidential payroll and personnel records.
• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR compliance requirement).

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Plant AP: Perform 3-way matching (PO, receiver/packing slip, vendor invoice) for raw materials, production supplies, and inventory items; investigate receipts and resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies.
• Accounts Receivable: Generate customer invoices upon shipment, record incoming payments, and assist with customer collections and aging monitoring.
• ERP Data Entry: Handle day-to-day transactional entry and processing in Epicor 10 (AP voucher entry, cash receipts, customer invoicing).
• HR & Payroll Support: Track hourly production floor timecards, assist with bi-weekly payroll submission, and coordinate basic new-hire onboarding documentation.
• Month-End Support: Assist the Controller with month-end ledger reconciliations, AP/AR aging reports, and inventory-related documentation.
