Job summary

Kearfott Corporation, a global Aerospace and Defense supplier, seeks a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting experience with expertise in fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, and inventory costing.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting audits. Excellent analytical and Excel skills, plus ERP experience, are required. US citizenship is required per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, inventory or inventory costing.
• Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities related to fixed assets, CIP, depreciation, inventory, and/or inventory costing.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and inventory general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and record depreciation and recurring journal entries.
• Support inventory accounting activities, including reconciliations and costing.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for close processes.
• Assist audits with supporting documentation and schedules.
